Top U.S. university chooses Scorion
Now that another top university in the United States has chosen Scorion, we can say it with confidence: Scorion’s ePortfolio is gaining a solid foothold in the U.S.—after already being widely used in the Netherlands and Germany. We’re absolutely thrilled and proud of this milestone.
Marquette
The Marquette School of Dentistry, located in Milwaukee, is a leading and respected institution within Marquette University in the state of Wisconsin. We’re truly delighted to be partnering with the Marquette School of Dentistry — not only because of its outstanding reputation as an institution, but also thanks to the professionalism and expertise of the people we get to work with. We’ve been in conversation with the faculty for some time, and in early October, our collaboration officially began. Marquette runs a modern curriculum built around Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and takes a holistic approach to education. Alongside programmatic assessment, these are core principles that align perfectly with Scorion’s strengths.
Another University
In addition to Marquette, Scorion is also being used by the Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine. KCU has long embraced EPAs and, as a relatively new dental school, has built its program on a modern educational framework. They have been working successfully with Scorion for over two years.
Implementation
Implementation of the portfolio will begin right away. During the first few meetings, we’ll follow our five key principles for successfully introducing a modern portfolio. We expect the program to launch with its first group of students in early 2026. From day one, students will have a clear overview of their progress throughout their education.
