New! Scorion integration with Canvas gradebook
The integration between Scorion and the Canvas LMS gradebook has been successfully tested! As more and more programs adopt the programmatic assessment concept and EPAs, many are choosing Scorion to support it. We’ve seen increasing demand from our clients for a connection between Scorion and their LMS — including the Medicine program at a Dutch university and the Dentistry program in the United States. That’s why, in collaboration with one of these programs, we’ve developed a seamless integration between Scorion and Canvas.
Data points in an assignment
A key part of programmatic assessment is collecting data points. These data points can take many forms — such as reflections, peer feedback, workplace observations, or assignments and products created by students. This generates a large amount of data, which some programs still process manually or by importing files. Thanks to the new integration, these time-consuming tasks are now a thing of the past.
Integration with LMS
Scorion can integrate with a wide range of other systems. It uses a powerful API that allows secure and seamless communication with external platforms. Naturally, strict security measures are in place to ensure data protection. Canvas is one of the latest integrations we’ve completed — and we’ve also recently added a connection with Turnitin.

Integrations are essential for Scorion. Our main goal is to make Scorion as easy as possible to use for both educators and administrators. In many programs, those involved in training are already busy supervising, performing tasks, or observing students — extra administration is the last thing they need. That’s why Scorion is almost always connected to the institution’s user database, allowing for smooth and effortless login.
